The Express settled for a series split in their most recent homestand against the Iowa Cubs that finished up Sunday afternoon.

Round Rock won on Friday and Saturday. Rogelio Armenteros allowed one run on three hits over six innings in Friday’s 8-1 win while Reymin Guduan picked up a win in relief on Saturday night.

Houston first-round pick Kyle Tucker continues to chug along with 16 home runs and 37 RBIs, trailing only the red-hot Alvarez for the team lead in both categories. Fellow first-rounder Forrest Whitley remains on the injured list since giving up seven runs on six hits in two innings on May 23.
