Faith Academy student selected for Aerospace Scholars Program

At Faith Academy, one student is reaching for the stars. Junior Truman Ross has been selected for a prestigious NASA High School Aerospace Scholars Program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Ross will attend a four-month online course with the opportunity to be selected to spend a week onsite at Johnson Space Center.

NASA opens the program to high school sophomores and juniors each year, offering one-of-a-kind experience for Texas high school students to explore the possibilities of a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related major or career.

The adventure starts in the fall with an online course and culminates — for students who earn the opportunity — with an onsite summer experience at NASA's Johnson Space Center.
