H-E-B issues precautionary recall

Cranberry Turkey Salad products with a March 19, 2018 sell-by date are affected

H-E-B has issued a product recall of H-E-B branded Cranberry Turkey Salad products. The recall affects those products with a sell-by date of March 19 or earlier because of potentially mislabeled products containing a pecan allergen.

According to information released by H-E-B on March 16, "people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pecans run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product."

The recall includes H-E-B 1 pound Cranberry Turkey Salad – UPC 25954300000, H-E-B 8 ounce Cranberry Turkey Salad Sandwich – UPC 26703100000, H-E-B 14 ounce Cranberry Turkey Salad Snack Tray – UPC 26792000000 and all H-E-B Cranberry Turkey Salad with Whole Wheat Crackers – 26516100000.

H-E-B says that customers may return these recalled products to the store for a full refund.
