Dead & Company, the latest iteration of The Grateful Dead, announced a fall leg to their 2017 tour with a stop in Austin at the Frank Erwin Center, Saturday, Dec. 2.
Tickets for the Frank Erwin Center performance on Dec. 2 are available at TexasBoxOffice.com. The group is also playing the American Airlines Center in Dallas the Friday prior should some Deadheads feel the urge to get two back to back nights.
The group features original Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir alongside singer/guitarist John Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. Continuing in the tradition of the Grateful Dead, the group draws from the Dead’s vast catalog of songs, and adds in a fresh take to the group’s music.
Fan registration will be available for the fall tour dates beginning today, Sept. 7, at Noon ET, through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program. Supplies are limited. For more information, check out here. Presale opportunities will be available beginning Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m.
