1 out of 3 Texans are now fully vaccinated as the state reports lowest number of hospitalized COVID patients in over a year

As of June 8, 13.1 million people have received at least one dose and 10.7 million people, or 37% of Texas’ population, are fully vaccinated. A total of 22.9 million doses have been administered. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require two doses, and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires one dose.
