Holiday Magic

Posted by wilcocreatives

Enjoy the holiday season with a family-friendly program of live classical music and ballet (and Santa)!

This season’s Christmas concert celebrates the wonder and beauty of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. We are thrilled to present our very special guests, dancers from Ballet Arts of Austin that will help the Central Texas Philharmonic bring Tchaikovsky’s iconic music to life on the stage of the Klett Center for the Performing Arts. This program, without an intermission, is one the entire family will enjoy.

This concert will be conducted by Maestro Jacob Harrison, Director of Orchestral Activities and Associate Professor of Music at Texas State University, San Marcos.

Our dear friend, Christopher Christmas (his real name!), will be our surprise guest, and he'll be passing out candy and looking forward to taking photos with you and your family.

Repertoire:

Prokofiev - Troika from Lt. Kijé

Anderson - Sleigh Ride

Lopez - Medley from Frozen

Berlin - White Christmas

Tchaikovsky - Selections from the Nutcracker with Ballet Arts of Austin

Anderson - A Christmas Festival

With singalong holiday classics, special guest ballet dancers, and the chance to meet Santa, the annual holiday concert from the Central Texas Philharmonic is a joyous performing arts occasion.

Tickets are available through www.centraltexasphilarmonic.com, and include special pricing for students.

Happy Holidays!
