LEANDER, Texas — Leander ISD will host its 2026 College Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 22 at Glenn High School.

The event will give LISD students and parents an opportunity to learn about college admissions, financial aid, scholarships and other postsecondary options.

Representatives from more than 100 institutions and programs are expected to attend. Participants will include four-year and two-year colleges and universities, trade schools, technical programs and the armed services.

College representatives will be stationed in the school’s commons area and the 1200s academic wing.

LISD is encouraging students to register before the event through StriveFair.com. Students can also scan a QR code included on the district’s event flyer.

Advance registration is not required. Students who do not register beforehand may complete the process when they arrive, and students may attend without registering.

The district said registration should take no more than two minutes.

The fair will use StriveScan, a tool that allows students to share contact information with selected college and university representatives. Students can choose which representatives receive their information.

Students who prefer not to share contact information may still participate in the fair.

Parking will be available in the front and side lots at Glenn High School.

College fairs in Texas are organized in conjunction with the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admission Officers, commonly known as TACRAO. Regions of the state are assigned specific weeks for college fairs, while participating school districts receive designated event days.

The Leander ISD fair is intended to connect students with representatives who can answer questions about admissions requirements, scholarships, financial aid and educational programs.
